Kansas is slowly moving from being a conservative state when it comes to online and offline gambling to one that responds to modern demands. It allows its residents and visitors to enjoy lotteries, pari-mutuel and simulcast wagering, plus charitable gambling,. About a decade ago, it legalized tribal and state-owned casinos, and recently also made offline and online sportsbooks legal. They do, however, need to obtain licenses and the fees for those can vary depending on the requests. In terms of charitable gambling, raffle and bingo are allowed.

Although, for the latter, the regulations are stricter than in many other states. The machines have to be vintage ones, created prior to the year 1950.
