NRLW Friday: Roosters v Raiders

The high-flying Roosters host a fast-charging Raiders outfit in a cracker of a contest to launch Round 10 of the NRLW premiership.

Remarkably the Roosters have not tasted defeat since Round 5 last year but if they're to keep that roll going they will need to do it without superstar Isabelle Kelly, who suffered a facial fracture against the Cowboys last weekend.

After starting the season 0-6, the Green Machine has powered to three wins on the bounce over the Warriors, Bulldogs and Wests Tigers and they loom as a dangerous opponent for the defending champions.

Roosters v Raiders at Accor Stadium

Late Mail

Roosters: The Roosters are 1-17 with no late changes. Fullback Corban Baxter remains sidelined with an ankle injury after dropping out of the squad on Thursday while Tavarna Papalii (concussion) was the last player omitted an hour before kick-off. Skipper Isabelle Kelly (oral fracture) is out until the finals so Jayme Fressard shifts to the centres and Mia Wood moves from the interchange to the wing. The Roosters have won eight from nine at Allianz Stadium.

Raiders: No further game day changes after Amelia Pasikala was added to the bench and Lili Boyle dropped back to 18th player. Young gun Elise Simpson has scored four tries in her last three games and will again provide the spark from fullback as the Raiders chase a fourth straight win.
