Parramatta are determined to extend their late-season surge as they look to finish the year on a high when they take on Newcastle in the final game of the 2025 regular season.

The Eels have won four of their past six games, including victories over the Broncos, Roosters and Warriors to lay the foundation for a finals tilt in 2026.

The immediate focus, however, is on defeating Newcastle at CommBank Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Knights have plenty to play for, with Adam O'Brien to coach his last game for the club.

The players are desperate to send the mentor out with a win before they turn their attention to next year's season opener in Las Vegas.

Team News

Eels: Just the one change for Jason Ryles with Newcastle-bound Dylan Brown called into the starting side at five-eighth in place of Jordan Samrani, who drops to the reserves. Brown's last game in the No.6 jersey was in Round 19 against the Panthers before three games in the centres in Round 23, 24 and 25.

Knights: In his final game at the helm, Adam O'Brien has named the same 17 that went down to the Sharks although game day swaps are on the cards again. Fletcher Hunt has been named at fullback and Dane Gagai in the centres while Jake Arthur is listed in the No.6, Phoenix Crossland in the No.9 and Jayden Brailey on the interchange.
