With the Broncos and Sharks breathing down their neck the Warriors can't afford a slip-up against the enigmatic Eels in Auckland on Friday.
Andrew Webster's men sit fourth on 34 competition points and have the double chance within their grasp provided they can maintain their intensity in the final two matches.
In Parramatta they confront a dangerous opponent capable of piling on plenty of points with Mitch Moses free-wheeling in attack and Zac Lomax and Josh Addo-Carr adding the finishing touches.
The Eels have endured a disappointing season but with wins over the Roosters, Broncos and Cowboys in the past five games they have shown that Jason Ryles is on the right track for a revival in 2026.
