The Roosters have breathed new life into their campaign with impressive wins over the Sea Eagles and Dolphins in recent weeks, piling on 84 points and conceding just 16.

With James Tedesco and Sam Walker in scintillating form the Roosters look more than capable of keeping the roll going and then making some noise in September.

Having been to the finals in 11 of the past 12 seasons and won three premierships, this is a club that knows what it takes to win big games - and they don't come much bigger than Friday's blockbuster against the Bulldogs.

When the two sides met in Round 11 the Bulldogs showed they were the real deal by overcoming a 14-0 half-time deficit to prevail 24-20 in a cracking contest at Accor Stadium.

The ability to overcome adversity has been a trait of Cameron Ciraldo's team in 2025 and they'll need to call on that resilience in Round 24 to deny a Roosters outfit riding a wave of momentum.

Team News

Roosters: Back-rower Siua Wong (concussion) will miss the game so Victor Radley joins the starting side at lock and Naufahu Whyte goes to prop. Egan Butcher moves from the bench to the starting side and Blake Steep joins the interchange.

Bulldogs: Coach Cameron Ciraldo sticks with the same 17 that got the job done against the Warriors. Fullback Connor Tracey has been named among the reserves as he looks to return from an abdominal injury that has sidelined him for two games.
