After a much-improved showing against top four team the Knights last week, the Raiders will be hoping they can go one better and claim their first win when they host Brisbane.

Canberra were able to match it with Newcastle for the first half, going into the break for a historic 0-0 scoreline, but errors early in the second half undid much of their hard work, eventually going down 18-0.

The Broncos however will be a tough team to face, with their attacking prowess on show in the opening half of their 28-14 win over the Sharks.

Tamika Upton didn't let a game stoppage for lightning strike hamper her flow, scoring a hat-trick in the win.

While Brisbane addressed their slow starts which have been a focus for them this season, they will be looking to improve on the defence shown in the second half, allowing the Sharks to score the final three tires of the game.

Team News

Raiders: Hollie-Mae Dodd is straight back into the starting side after being a late withdrawal last week, with Tatiana Finau moving to the interchange. Monalisa Soliola has also been named in the back row for her first match since Round 3. Cheyelle Robins-Reti drops out of the side, with Mackenzie Wiki moving to centre and Relna Wuruki-Hosea coming in on the wing. Prop Grace Kemp has also not been named and Chloe Saunders is set to start at prop.

Broncos: Just one change to the side that defeated Cronulla last week, with Shenae Ciesiolka making her return from a knee injury to replace Bree Spreadborough (ankle) on the bench. Ciesiolka will play her first game of the season after suffering the injury in the State of Origin series.
