The Green Machine have powered to nine straight wins and the form guide says they'll make it 10 this weekend to pull within one of the club record for successive victories.
Twice in their history the Raiders have won 11 on the bounce and both times that streak included a grand final (1989 and 1994).
Standing in their way in Round 22 is a Dragons team that will relish being back on their own patch after a tough road trip to Townsville that resulted in a 12th loss of the season and a knee injury to Jaydn Su'A that looks to have ended his 2025.
The Raiders have won 26 of 40 clashes between the two sides since the Dragons' joint venture was formed in 1999 and hold a 6-5 advantage in 12 games at WIN Stadium with one draw in 2002.
The Red V always lift in front of the Wollongong faithful but they'll need to find at least a couple more gears if they're to trouble the competition frontrunners.
