Sharks: Daniel Atkinson has been named in jumper No.14 however the Sharks could opt for a late switch and promote Billy Burns from 18th man to the interchange bench as they have done in their last two games. Cronulla are otherwise settled, with no other changes to the side that beat the Dolphins last week. Addin Fonua-Blake will play his 200th NRL game.

Roosters: Chad Townsend is on track for his first NRL game since Round 5 after being named to replace the injured Hugo Savala (wrist) at five-eighth. Townsend suffered a concussion in NSW Cup earlier this month and while he sat out last weekend, he should be ready to go on Friday night. Spencer Leniu has been named on the bench, but could make a late switch with Lindsay Collins, as was the case last week.

Panthers: Dylan Edwards and Mitch Kenny are the new co-captains after coach Ivan Cleary opted to rest Nathan Cleary and Isaah Yeo. Edwards sat out last week's game, with Brian To'o also returning from Origin duties this week, however Liam Martin will miss a second-straight match with a wrist injury. Scott Sorensen is preparing to return from suspension in the back row, while Izack Tago has accepted a one-game ban. Paul Alamoti comes into the centres as a result.

Rabbitohs: Liam Le Blanc has been named at 18th man and could make a quick return after suffering a back injury in the Round 18 loss to the Sea Eagles. The news is less positive for Davvy Moale, Brandon Smith and Campbell Graham, however, who have all been ruled out of Friday's clash. Latrell Mitchell returns as fullback after finishing his NSW campaign and Jack Wighton remains in the halves with Cody Walker still sidelined. Lewis Dodd is listed on the bench but could drop out if Wayne Bennett turns to Le Blanc to add another forward to the interchange.

Raiders: Veteran Josh Papalii has been named to start in his first game since last week's Origin heroics, however coach Ricky Stuart could opt to play him off the bench as he has done regularly this season. That would open the door for Morgan Smithies to come back into the starting side. Hudson Young is also back from the Blues and will start despite managing a groin complaint in recent weeks.

Eels: Departing playmaker Dylan Brown is set to line up as 18th man as coach Jason Ryles turns an eye to the future. Young gun Joash Papalii will start at five-eighth, while Ryley Smith is straight back into hooker in his return from suspension. The loss of Kitione Kautoga (ankle) has seen Jack Williams shift to the back row and J'maine Hopgood added to the starting side.

Knights: Brodie Jones is set to start in the back row after Dylan Lucas suffered a foot injury, with Tyson Gamble added to the bench as a result. Tyson Frizell is also set to come off the interchange, with Phoenix Crossland to start at lock and Jayden Brailey at hooker. After a late reshuffle last week, Dane Gagai will start at fullback and Fletcher Hunt will play centre.

Warriors: Kurt Capewell is set to make his return from Origin duties in the centres, replacing the injured Rocco Berry (shoulder). Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad remains at least another week away in his return from injury and Taine Tuaupiki will again start at fullback.
