Blues prop Payne Haas insists he will be fully fit for next Wednesday night's Origin decider after having an injection in his back that forced him to sit out training.
Haas, interchange forward Hudson Young and winger Brian To'o were onlookers as the Westpac NSW Blues had their first training session on Wednesday ahead of the series decider at Accor Stadium.
Young missed last Friday night's match against the Knights with a groin injury in a bid to ensure he was fit for Origin, while To'o has a knee injury.
Haas revealed he had been battling a back problem for much of the season.

“I had a bit of a needle in my back, so I’m just resting up and getting ready for the game. I'll do a bit more tomorrow," Haas said.
“I've had a back problem all year, to be honest. It’s just been a bit sore, so the staff at Brisbane thought I should get a needle before I come in and feel good for the game."
Haas was player of the match in NSW's 18-6 win in the series opener at Suncorp Stadium, despite have little time with his team-mates on the training paddock due to an ankle injury.
He again played 60 minutes in the middle in Origin II at Perth's Optus Stadium as the Blues fought back before falling short 26-24 to Queensland.
The star prop said his impact or workload would not be affected by the injury next Wednesday night.
“We’ve got good people up at Brisbane and I’m obviously getting looked after in camp as well, so I’m not worried about that," he said. "People are looking after me well and I've got all my faith in them."
Angus Crichton: 'Special moments you dream of'
However, Haas revealed that he was on a reduced training program under former NSW Origin coach Michael Maguire at the Broncos because of the injury.
Asked the last time he felt fully fit, Haas said: “Probably in Round 1 but it's all part of the game. That's what footy is, you're never 100%".
“It doesn't affect anything, to be honest. I know my prep, I know what I’ve got to do to do my job well," Haas said.
"Madge's been good to me, resting me up during the week and just getting my body right again.
"Madge sees that I work pretty hard and I think he's got trust in in myself to do the job and get the job done. We've got a pretty good relationship like that."
Blues team performance manager Frank Ponissi said To'o would be expected to train either on the weekend or definitely by Monday.
