NSW Schoolgirls Cup kicks off live on KommunityTV

The next crop female rugby league stars will get their time to shine this week with the opening round of the NSW Schoolgirls Cup kicking off today.

Fans are invited to view the future in action with , with all games from today’s opening matches being live streamed.

This season, all matches from both the NRL National Schoolboy and Schoolgirl Cup competitions will be exclusively live streamed on through News Corp Australia digital mastheads.

This year marks the first time that Schoolgirl Cup competitions will be streamed on , meaning all 302 schools matches across the Schoolboy Cup, Schoolgirl Cup, and ASSRLC will be available to stream throughout the 2025 season.

The season began on April 29 with Victorian schools competing for the Storm Cup in a double-header.

NSW teams began their campaigns on May 6-7, with Queensland schools joining later in May.

In a new development for 2025, 18 selected matches from the NSW and Queensland boys and girls competitions will be available to watch free on News Corp Australia mastheads.

Additionally, the 2025 Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League Championships will also be broadcast on .

The opening round of the NSW Schoolgirls Cup will see three games played – with the live and free match seeing Central Coast State School look to bounce back from their 2024 NRL Schoolgirl Cup - Southern Conference grand final loss last year.
