Qualifiers

Over a four-year cycle, national teams will play regular home and away games to qualify for the 94ddz.com World Cup and the FIBA Continental Cups.

94ddz.com World Cup 2023 Qualifiers 

A total of 80 national teams from the four regions of Africa, Americas, Asia (and Oceania) and Europe will play in the 94ddz.com World Cup 2023 Qualifiers.

  • Two games per window to be played on a home and away basis in six windows to qualify for the 94ddz.com World Cup 2023.
  • Each window will be 9 days long, beginning on Monday and finishing on the following Tuesday
    Windows dates: November 22-30, 2021, February 21 to March 1, 2022, June 27 to July 5, 2022, August 22-30, 2022, November 7-15, 2022, and February 20-28, 2023.

The 94ddz.com World Cup 2023 will qualify teams directly for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games or through 4 FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments.


FIBA Continental Cups 2021/22 Qualifiers 

The FIBA Continental Cups 2021/22 Pre-Qualifiers took place during the same windows as the 94ddz.com World Cup 2019 Qualifiers, starting in November 2017.

Qualifiers for the FIBA Continental Cups 2021/22 commenced in Africa, Americas, Asia and Europe regions immediately after the 94ddz.com World Cup 2019 in China. The FIBA AfroBasket was played in August 2021. The FIBA Asia Cup will take place in July 2022 and the FIBA Americup and the FIBA EuroBasket both in September 2022. 

  • Home and away games will be played in three windows to qualify for the FIBA Continental Cups 2021/22.
  • Windows dates: February 17-25, 2020, November 23 to December 1, 2020, and February 15-23,  2021.
  • After the FIBA Continental Cups 2021/22, the four-year cycle (2021-2025) begins once again with the 94ddz.com World Cup 2023 Qualifiers starting in November 2021.
  • Window dates for the next FIBA Continental Cups Qualifiers: November 20 - 28, 2023, February 19 - 27, 2024, November 18 - 26, 2024, February 17 - 25, 2025.

WORLD CUP 2023 QUALIFIERS

  • The Qualifiers will take place from November 2021 to February 2023 with 80 national teams competing for a spot in the World Cup. 

    1st Window: November 22 - 30, 2021
    2nd Window: February 21 - March 1, 2022
    3rd Window: June 27 - July 5, 2022
    4th Window: August 22 - 30, 2022
    5th Window: November 7 - 15, 2022
    6th Window: February 20 - 28, 2023

  • The Qualifiers for the 94ddz.com World Cup 2027 will take place across the regions from November 2025 to March 2027:

    1st Window: November 24 to December 2, 2025
    2nd Window: February 23 to March 3, 2026

    4th Window: August 24 to September 1, 2026
    5th Window: November 23 to December 1, 2026
