Gold Coast Titans Careers Day 2025

A massive thank you to Foxwell State Secondary College for hosting this year’s Titans NRL School to Work Careers Day!
Our Year 11 and 12 NRL S2W students had the opportunity to connect with a range of local organisations to explore career aspirations, learn about new industries, and engage in hands-on activities. Stakeholders were encouraged to bring interactive equipment and fun experiences to spark student interest.
Gold Coast Marina showcased a Sirocco Rib Alloy, proudly supplied by Sirocco Marine, and an engaging fishing concept provided by S-Tackle Burleigh Heads. NDE Solutions brought along industry-specific testing equipment, giving students valuable insight into the world of non-destructive examination. Kmart Group offered a prize wheel spin, while Multiplex facilitated an activity highlighting the wide range of roles available on a construction site.

The rotational format allowed students to confidently engage with stakeholders, ask questions, and learn about career pathways in a culturally safe and supportive environment.
Special guests Lailani Montgomery and Taliah Fuimaono from the NRLW Titans joined the group for the sessions and shared their journeys, offering advice and inspiration for the students.

The day received overwhelmingly positive feedback from students and stakeholders alike, paving the way for meaningful future career opportunities.

A heartfelt thank you to all our partners: Accor, Multiplex, Gold Coast Marina, Yakka Careers, NDE Solutions, Superior Walls and Ceilings, Griffith University, Gold Coast TAFE, QUT, Kmart Group, The Defence Force, and everyone who attended. Your continued support means so much to our program and our mob.
