Hacksaw Gaming, the award-winning supplier of slot games for online casinos, has announced its expansion into the Ontario market following an agreement with BetMGM, one of the top online casino operators in the region.

Under the terms of the agreement, the online casino operator will be able to offer its customers in Ontario popular slot titles from Hacksaw Gaming such as Wanted Dead or a Wild and R.I.P. City, with more games to be added to the partnership in the coming months.

Hacksaw Gaming was already present in the Ontario fast-growing market as it already had deals in place with seven licensed operators in the province. The company has its own supplier license, granted by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

Moreover, Hacksaw Gaming also announced that it received a business-to-business supplier license for the Swedish market from the SGA (Swedish Gambling Authority), so its games will be able to reach this market as well in the near future.

The company was founded in 2018 in Malta and since then it has expanded to cover 18 regulated markets while its portfolio contains over 120 games at the moment. Hacksaw Gaming has forged partnerships with over 250 international online casinos, including big names that are also available in Canada such as Mr Green and Wildz Casino.

Continuing To Aim High

Speaking about the partnership with BetMGM, Gabrielle Star, the Chief Commercial Officer of Hacksaw Gaming, said that her team was “super excited” to reach an agreement with such a big company, which she described as “a true industry mainstay.”

“BetMGM is a household name boasting a rich heritage in both land-based and digital iGaming arenas,” Gabrielle Star added, underlining that the partnership will allow Hacksaw Gaming “reach new audiences.”

Gabrielle Star also added that Hacksaw Gaming continues “to aim high” as the developer intends to reach even more regulated markets in the near future as part of its global strategy.

The Ontario market is quite important both for game developers and online casino and sportsbook operators. During the first year of operations, the Ontario market generated total gaming revenue of 1.4 billion Canadian dollars, an amount which places it among the top five iGaming jurisdictions in North America.
