Bragg Gaming Group, the powerful Canadian business-to-business iGaming technology and content supplier, has announced that its search for a new Chief Executive Officer has ended and that the chosen person is Yaniv Sherman.

The appointment comes seven months after Richard Carter, the former Chief Executive Officer, left the company following a strategic review of the business. Under Richard Carter, Bragg Gaming recorded very good financial results, but that was not reflected in the company’s performance in the public market.

The new Chief Executive Officer has remarkable experience in the gaming industry after having served as Senior VicePresident and Head of U.S. for 888, one of the biggest online casino brands in the world, from 2018 to 2021.

During his tenure at 888, Yaniv Sherman was instrumental in forging a 15-year joint venture between 888 and Sports Illustrated in the United States, while also forging partnerships with Caesars Casino and the Delaware Lottery.

Before becoming Senior Vice President, Sherman was the Head of Commercial Development at 888, where he was responsible for overseeing corporate development, business-to-business and market research.

Paul Godfrey, the chairman of Bragg Gaming, expressed his delight at Sherman’s appointment as the new Chief Executive Officer of the company. “His extensive industry experience and strong record of success,” Godfrey added, while pointing out that the appointment of the new CEO finalizes the strategic review process.
