The top 4 teams from the U18 Asian Championship will represent the region in next year's FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2023 which will take place

The U18 returns to Tehran


The FIBA U18 Asian Championship returns to Tehran, Iran. The West Asian country hosted and won the 2016 edition after beating heavy favorites Japan in the final.
